The Rutland Jewish Center, established in 1906, grew from six original families to 125 families at the time of the publication of this quarterly. The quarterly explains the state of the synagogue, the relationships of its members, and how Rutland’s Jewish community developed in the years between its origin and 1989. It includes the history of the creation of the Jewish Center, and key events in the continued development. This quarterly includes photos of members, remembrances, and special letters, such as the acceptance of Rabbi Solomon D. Goldberg as the congregation’s new Rabbi. This quarterly was written by freelance writer and actress Sandra (Stillman) Gartner.
